When I first met Vince I thought "Wow"
..... This guy looks tough, he's as serious as a heart attack and he's pretty
ripped'.... Afraid of angering him, and not wanting Vince to rip off my arms
& beat me to death with them- I asked him what HE thought
would be the best design for my mask... I knew I was in great hands when he
laughed and told me that he wasn't the one wearing it and that I should probably
let HIM know what I wanted... This shocked me even
more after I met his lovely wife, Lisa... With her in charge all the time-one
would think that Vince would like to hold the reins, but he sat there and
listened to my suggestions and to how passionate I was about AC/DC... From
the moment I left my mask with Vince to the moment I got back - I was on pins an
d needles, not because I was afraid he wouldn't do my concept justice- but
because he was super-pro when I was running ideas by him and we even started
thinking on the same level (which is scary) and I just couldn't wait to see the
monster brought to life. The
end result is the masterpiece you see before you... The ultimate tribute in any athlete/Music
lover's trophy case. Vince Goodeve is as passionate about his art as I am
with mine and he finds fulfillment on two levels - personal gratification that
he gets when witnessing a finished product actually 'come to life' on whatever
canvas he's working with . Secondly - Customer satisfaction. When it comes
to the 'Back In Black' bucket, Vince gets two- thumbs up.... So much so,
that I've begun graciously "allowing" opponents to score on me for
fear that the mask might get a scratch! Hmm...allowing them
to score on me... that's a good one. Thanks
again Vince for an awesome job. Jay
