The Story of the Tattoo Bike originated in Sturgis when I spoke with Rick
Fairless of "Rick Fairless Strokers Dallas". He wanted to something Crazy. So we
came up with the idea of an entire bike looking like flowing tattoos, almost like
a sleeve or a full body tattoo. So when I approached this project I used
all the techniques I learned from tattoos and doing tattoos, as far as shading
and making one image flow into another over the entire bike. I can't imaging how
many images are actually on the bike, I never took the time to count them. But I
know I spent 47 days which is tattooed under the front headlight of this bike to
complete this job, and that is just the artwork alone.
By the way there isn't one inch of bare
skin/steel left on this motorcycle.
